A line graph for sensitivity analysis for MCDA

The line graph above was used in the Rosiglitazone Case Study to analyse the sensitivity of weight placed on the MACE (major adverse cardiovascular events) node in MCDA. It shows the effect of making all four MACE events simultaneously more important. The graph indicates that a 20-point increase in the weight on that node, which currently accounts for about 45% of the overall results (vertical red line), could indeed tip the benefit-risk balance favouring rosiglitazone plus adjunct, against adjunct only. This occurs when red line (1) and green line (2) crosses at weight of about 65. The green area under the line graph indicates where a change in weight within the values on the horizontal axis does not change the most favourable option (Adjunct only
